In this episode, Jenn and Daren welcome everyone into the new year with an update on everything that is going on with them. Since the end of the last season, Jenn’s book “Black Women Taught Us” is available for purchase, Daren had eye surgery, and they have released people who couldn’t respect boundaries. They urge everyone listening to radically choose themselves in 2024 and see how much better life is on that side.
They also look forward to everything that they are setting out to accomplish in 2024. This includes the continuation of their popular writing programs, engaging with listeners more, sharing who is working on the team behind the scenes, and the launch of their literary magazine WaterCooler Literary.

Podcast Summary:
This is an accidentally funny podcast about the realities of Blackness and adult life. We do “adult” differently. We are That Black Couple.
Our goal is to create a space for Black millennials to discuss and embody adult life on their own terms. We aren’t beholden to “traditional” gender or parenting roles, queerness is fluid and present in the ways we show up in our relationships and in the world, and we want to build community with other 30-something Black folx who are trying to figure this ish out.
