KatKatia Cafe Febrissy is a Writer, Film and Stage Director, Playwright and a former Ebony Toastmaster member.
Katia embraced her storytelling journey when she joined Ebony Toastmasters in 2014. The training allowed Katia to embrace her artistic self. She still recalls some of the speeches she wrote about her extra-conjugal affair with writing and her subsequent vows to poetry. After this, she began spoken word performances which kickstarted my filmmaking career.
Katia has two favourite quotes that have become her life guiding principles:
– Whatever the task, it always seems impossible until it's done – Nelson Mandela.
– How you do one thing is how you do everything – unknown author.
