From Grief To Laughter PART 1 | Legally Clueless Ep 363 podcast
On today’s episode of “Say Less,” Kaz talks shop with Wayno of Complex’s hit show ‘Everyday Struggle.’ In addition to being a co-host of the Hip-Hop debate show, he serves as the VP of A&R for Asylum Records and in this discussion we talk about the role music plays in the current fight for police protests and equal rights amongst black people in America. The two speak at length about the success of ‘Everyday Struggle,’ the stark differences between himself on DJ Akademiks as well as the show’s evolution post-Joe Budden. Kaz and Wayno speak on their own individual experiences involving the police as well as the role major Hip-Hop artists like YG, J. Cole, Lil Baby, Wale, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar have played in the past two weeks when it comes to mobilizing and organizing black men and women for real change and how the black vote is so important this year that politicians threw on some kente cloth and took a knee.
