  • Police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with the mass shooting at Morgan State University that injured five people.
  • Jurors convicted one Denver-area police officer and acquitted another of charges in the 2019 death of Elijah McClain, a Black man who died after being put in a neck hold, pinned to the ground before being injected by paramedics with an overdose of ketamine.
  • RIP – Actress Suzanne Somers has died at the age of 76. Also, RIP to Rudolph Isley, a founding member of the legendary Isley Brothers who has died at the age of 84.

The proposed rule would specifically ban straightening products that contain formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing chemicals, which scientists have associated with health issues like ovarian and breast cancers.
