The crew starts the pod by giving Daan Junior his flowers. The crew then discussed the calendar for cuffing season (14:25). The conversion about life after high school continued from episode 16. (20:20) The crew starts to talk about their relationship with their parents after the move. Haitian parents, for the most part, are not vocal about their emotions towards their kids and in this episode, the crew unpacked how they dealt with that and the impact of that experience in their adult stage. (46:03) The conversation led to the effect that their upbringing had on making adult decisions. (54:00) Lastly, the crew talked a bit about the disconnect from Haitian churches due to the language barrier and lack of the “why” behind going to church and more!
