Tropical Depression Fred is moving northeast this morning, dumping heavy rain and causing flash flooding after slamming the Southeast. We’re seeing new evidence of the scale of devastation from Saturday’s earthquake in Haiti. R. Kelly will be in a New York City courtroom this morning, as opening statements begin in the trial in one of the federal cases against him.
