No matter how strong and resilient you are, if you’re constantly relying on your willpower to fuel your forward progress, it will eventually run out of gas.

When your willpower runs out of gas, so do you.

But, besides being clear on the WHY behind your WILL, what if there’s something else you can do to give your willpower some added support?

In today’s 5-Minute Drill, I share a key nutrition strategy that will give your willpower the necessary backup it needs.

If you want elite performance to be a more consistent characteristic of your life and game, then make sure to lock in to today’s Drill.

STEP 1: At night, write down everything you have going on the next day (if you already have a routine that has your schedule locked in, just pull out your schedule)

STEP 2: For each item on your calendar, ask yourself THESE THREE questions:

  • For you to show up at your best physically, mentally, and emotionally for __________ (i.e. event in your calendar)…
    • What am I going to eat?
    • How much am I going to eat?
    • When am I going to eat it?
  • COUPLE NOTES: 
    • You can cluster your schedule
      • Workout block (pre and post)
      • Every 3-4 hours
    • YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE PERFECT

STEP 3: PREPARE and PLAN
