As far as legacy sequels go, Gladiator 2 isn’t too bad. While it doesn’t hit the same highs as say Top Gun Maverick, Ridley Scott does in a way play it safe. Not a bad thing per se but same time the film hits the same story beats of the first movie. Denzel ends up stealing this movie top to bottom and he’s worth it alone to go see this movie.
