#3744: Measure First, Judge Later (Or Never)

Before I decide what I’m dealing with, I need to measure the situation and get accurate information. Measurement creates clarity, and clarity gives me a stronger foundation for making decisions and taking action. If I judge too early, I’m making decisions from incomplete or inaccurate information. And when the information is bad, everything that follows can be tainted.
