People often confuse liking something with respecting it, and that’s a mistake. In this episode, I explain why boundaries don’t have to be liked to be respected. When I set clear, firm, and consistent boundaries, they remove ambiguity, and that’s where real respect begins. Structure creates psychological order even if people feel emotional resistance to it. Respect follows clarity and consistency, not comfort.
