I had the pleasure of speaking with Len and Jay Bias’s mother. She shares her thoughts on if prevention from drugs is taken seriously, her upbringing, details on the passing of both of her sons, and much more. This episode is the epitome of a woman’s strength and I really do hope that this episode continues to remind you that tough times don’t last, but Professional Homegirls do. BTW, Len Bias was the second overall draft pick for the Boston Celtics and died two days later after a cocaine overdose. Jay Bias was killed almost four years later following an argument at a jewelry store in the mall.
