Before joining AARP, Lauryn was a photo editor at WIRED Magazine, where she began as a fellow in 2019 while simultaneously completing her Master’s degree in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University.

Lauryn shares her professional journey, including a unique peer-to-peer mentorship with Karen Williams that significantly influenced her career. She reflects on the guidance she received from Karen during pivotal transitions and how it shaped her path in the industry.
