The coaching industry got hijacked and that sucks. Marketing got prioritized over transformation, coaches got “celebritized” and people began to idolize them, put them on pedestals and mimic their lifestyles. There was a push to shove people into cookie cutter frameworks or get them to buy $997 courses and as a result a lot of people lost time and money, got manipulated and never got the transformation they were actually looking for.
Thankfully we are starting to see a shift.
In this episode of Sisternomics, I unpack why I believe the coaching industry is going through a necessary course correction and why women over 45 are no longer looking for gurus, perfect frameworks, or louder personalities. We are looking for something deeper. We talk about what real coaching should actually feel like, the difference between support and proximity marketing, why AI can’t replace human discernment, and the quiet power of being truly seen, heard, and honsetly supported. This conversation is bigger than coaching. It’s about trust. Identity. Discernment. Emotional exhaustion. And what women truly need in this season of life.
Listen if you’re a coach or looking for a coach.
