The race for Chesapeake City School Board is crowded, competitive, and important. With 13 candidates seeking five seats, voters have some big decisions to make about who should help shape the future of Chesapeake Public Schools.
Tonight, The Arrington Gavin Show welcomes special guest (D) Jeremiah Harrell, candidate for Chesapeake City School Board and one of the five Democratic-endorsed candidates in the race.
Harrell brings more than two decades of law-enforcement experience to his campaign and says school safety, supporting teachers and staff, student success, parental involvement, accountability, and responsible leadership are among his priorities.
But what would those priorities look like in practice?
