A self dubbed "health tech nerd" and a maternal health technology expert and the Founder and CEO of SimpliFed, the maternal health tech platform helping new parents access the baby feeding support they need, when they need it. A mom of two under 5yo, she is a biomedical engineer by training, has worked with the VA, founded a number of health tech companies (one sold to athenahealth), has testified before Congress and is a faculty member at Cornell University. An advocate for female entrepreneurship and women in STEM, she also is an expert in maternal leave and workplace efforts around new parents. SimpliFed is now live with TRICARE, all of Colorado Medicaid beneficiaries, and has contracts across the US.

SimpliFed, is a telehealth platform connecting new parents to the baby feeding support they need, on-demand and judgement free. Based in Ithaca, NY, the company has contracts with TRICARE, Colorado Medicaid, North Carolina Medicaid and more. Under the Affordable Care Act, breastfeeding / baby feeding support is covered (#FREE), and most parents don't know about this and thus give up on breastfeeding and/or struggle to feed their baby, especially in those first few days-weeks-months, when they don't actually have to suffer.
