Today I discuss two controversial bills that could change the real estate market as we know it. The first bill is the End Hedge Fund Control of American Homes Act on the table, which could potentially ban hedge funds from owning single-family homes in the United States.
The other bill we discuss is the American Neighborhoods Protection Act, which would have corporate landlords with over 75 single-family homes pay an annual fee of $10,000 per home. I discuss my thoughts on this and what you should consider as an investor.
