Do you know what schizoaffective disorder is? In this week's episode, Tyeisha Brewer, mental health advocate and creator/host of the Glowing Thru Concrete podcast joins the show to share her struggles with schizoaffective disorder and how she manages her mental health while juggling the many roles of wife, mother of five, student and entrepreneur.
Tyeisha Brewer is a published author, mental health advocate, and founder of Glowing Thru Concrete. She is also working on a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health at an online university. She believes that mental health and illnesses should become conventional in society. Tyeisha’s own personal experiences of mental illness and being diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, depressive type is what landed her into the mental health field. For fun, Tyeisha likes writing and spending time with her husband, children, and other family and friends.
