Don’t get me wrong – I still believe it.
But you can be growing personally or professionally and still be complacent.
What?
Yes.
Trust me, this was me for YEARS. I thought I was making progress and growing, only to find out I was thinking too small.
The bar I set for myself was too low…
So, of course, every book I finished or meditation I completed felt like I won the dang Super Bowl. But in reality, I wasn’t even scratching the surface of the dream God had for me or the progress he prepared for me to make.

RE: building wealth, there’s a basic hygiene to it (e.g. saving in 401k, have an emergency fund, etc. – these are equivalent to taking a shower everyday)

We have to think about the possibilities of more success before we act

Big thing that gets in the way of success: distractions and lack of focus (everything sounds good)

Joe’s advice: build your “gusher” first (i.e. get laser focused on the ONE thing that brings you passion)

Decide what to do with your excess capital
