An arrest has been made in connection with the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Jamaica Dowling at Greene Crossing Square Apartments on Pulaski Street last weekend. Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook said Kejuan Boyce, 23, was arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Dowling. Dowling was shot at the Greene Crossing Apartments on March 13. Four other people were injured. According to officials, an argument led to gunfire which spilled into the hallway and outside of the building. Chief Holbrook says the party at the apartment complex was advertised through a social media post, allowing anyone to show up. Holbrook adds that there will be more arrests and encourages anyone who attended the party to come forward. The suspect is from Columbia and was out on bond from a March 2021 incident in Spartanburg. Boyce is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
