HMP | Episode 9 | “BAL-entine’s Day” Haitian R&B

Black Podcasting - HMP | Episode 9 | "BAL-entine's Day" Haitian R&B

Without wasting any time, the HMP crew started discussing Valentine’s Day and how it is celebrated. Then they pivoted and talked about dating in the Haitian culture, love in the Haitian culture, and what are some traditions that are still valid in our current times. They also discussed the creole language and debated whether it is romantic or not (Phone conversation with The Notepadd & Shirley Dor). Furthermore, Leona opened up regarding her experience in Haiti a few years back in regards to how everyone carries themselves emotionally and how that behavior is translated here in America. The conversation turned serious, as Marc made some remarks regarding the Haitian Media platforms and their responsibilities digitally. Lastly, the crew thanked everyone who voted for the pod to be part of the 2020 class of Haitian creatives!
