Behind every victory, there is a story of sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering support from those who champion our dreams alongside us. Marriage is a commitment many of us take for granted. We often focus on the visible accomplishments and accolades, forgetting the countless moments of quiet support and sacrifice that made those achievements possible. Some of us fail to appreciate our spouses and end up regretting the missed opportunities to express gratitude and love.

Hence, we must realize that marriage goes beyond just feelings and requires love in a deeper sense. It includes daily effort, understanding, constant support, patience, and a willingness to put the partnership above individual desires — which often involves sacrifices and some compromise. It’s about being there for each other through good times and bad, celebrating victories together, and comforting each other during failures. So, dear friends, if you are considering marriage, find someone who not only makes you happy but, most importantly, someone who strives to bring out the better version of you.

In this special episode, I will share with you the things I want to celebrate as a father and a husband, the lessons I’ve learned, and the things in my marriage that shaped me into the person I am today. I also want to highlight my heartfelt appreciation to my wife throughout the fifteen years of our marriage for being the anchor of our family and for her unwavering love and support. I am endlessly grateful for the gift of her presence in my life and look forward to the adventures that await us in the years to come. Here’s to celebrating the joys of fatherhood, the beauty of marriage, and the blessings of family.

“When you see someone who’s doing great things and achieving to another level, someone is in their corner and someone is sacrificing right alongside them who deserves just as much credit as the person standing on the podium.” – Dr. Derrick Burgess
