In this episode of Black Health 365, Britt, and Jackie welcome guest Jen Butler as they have a candid and informative discussion about her experience with postpartum preeclampsia. This eye-opening conversation sheds light on the challenges Black women face in maternal health and how we can work towards improving it. Originally from Washington, D.C., Jen Butler serves as Vice President of Media Relations and Communications for the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC). In this role, Jen supports NLIHC’s mission of advancing federal policy to address the nation’s housing affordability and homelessness crisis. She is also an advocate for mental health awareness. Jen resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and two children.
