Lack of Courage: The Essence of having a Sanctuary

Do you have a sanctuary? What’s your sanctuary routine?

We all need a sanctuary and a routine that works for us. A sanctuary gives us room to get vulnerable, cleansed, and refreshed. When Jesus was on earth, He always took time to retreat and soak in the presence of God.

We live in a world where so many things happen, and if we do not take spare time to be in our sanctuaries, things may get so difficult, and we might end up feeling overwhelmed. When you learn to retreat, it gives you room to learn more about yourself, gets close to God, gets refreshed and arms you with the courage you need to show up to the world.

As we continue our courage talks today, we will look at the essence of having a sanctuary and a consistent sanctuary routine.
