I am a label.
How?
Because I’m an artist.
And my music is out.
It’s marketed.
And I get paid off of it.
Isn’t that what a label does?
If you do this, you’re a label too.

Russ is a label
Chance The Rapper is a label
Record label doesn’t mean having an office in Manhattan or Beverly Hills telling young kids what to do.
It means you manufacture your product (music) and you get paid from it.
You have to start thinking like this.
Start calling yourself a record label.
Start moving like a record label.
And then you’ll start thinking like a record label.
Everything they do, you’ll do.
You’ll understand their moves better.
You’ll be more locked into everything that you need to do to make music full-time.
That’s how I got to the point I’m at today.
I studied my competition (labels).
Mimicked their strategy.
And made it my own.
Which is why I tell you to steal my stuff.
