The Bible warns us that pursuing wealth as a foundation of joy is meaningless. One will never be satisfied. So is it possible to be rich and be a Christ-follower? Yes!
Wealth for Others (Luke 10:25-37)
In the story of the ‘Good Samaritan,’ the man is identified as wealthy. He was able to provide care for the victim and supply for his needs. While the Samaritan couldn’t completely stop all of his business affairs, he ensured the innkeeper that he would return and settle the debt.
