Police are investigating a shooting on Long Island after a woman was fatally shot inside of a parking garage. The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. underneath a medical office complex police said. They did not say how many shots were fired or what may have motivated the attack. A spokesperson for Northwell Health said the woman, an employee, was shot in the facility’s publicly accessible parking lot. Northwell Health members provided her aid on the scene, but she was later pronounced dead at another area hospital. The suspect is still at large.
