Minimizing Procrastination (Physical spaces)

If we continue to procrastinate, the boxes we store up will steal valuable space and time from serving God and loving people. Matthew 6:21, For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be. God isn’t forbidding wealth but the worship and boastfulness of it. There are so many examples in both the old and new Testament about the shameful behavior of wealth worship.

Here are some questions to consider:

• What needs unpacking?
• Why are you waiting to gain clarity, organize your environment and prepare a space for others to experience Christ through you?
• Are you afraid to acknowledge what’s in your boxes?

Decluttering doesn’t need to be a daunting task. Set a timer and take 30 minutes at the end of the day every day for a month. I can’t begin to tell you what emptying your space to embrace peace, tranquility, and people does for your mind, body, and spirit.

Pray and ask God to help you let go of the temporary stuff so you can focus on His eternal kingdom. Christ is waiting underneath. He doesn’t want you to delay another moment of being in a relationship with Him.
