As the president and CEO of the organization, she is able to craft and continue initiatives that benefit our democracy. In the first half of the show, she shares a few of the things the NCNW is doing to protect some of the progress made during the civil rights movement. She also speaks to some of the recent attacks on CRT, Affirmative Action, and DEI initiatives.
